Crinum moorei
A huge bulb from SA with large, palest pink-tinged white trumpet shaped lily flowers clustered at the tops of the stems in summer. Height 120cm in flower. Completely hardy in my frigid frost pocket garden, even through the hell of December 2010; I'm not sure why this has a reputation for tenderness as it survived with ease -14c here. For sun or shade and in my experience flowers very well in fairly deep shade. Any reasonably drained soil.
