Dennstaedtia davallioides

The Lacy ground fern from Eastern Australia makes a creeping species for a shady moist site in humus rich soil and bears highly dissected very broad-triangular fronds with red brown stipes (stalks) and overlapping pinnae which reach 80cm long at least and in perfect conditions potentially up to 1.5m. This rarity should be perfectly hardy in the ground, especially if mulched, but probably won't need it.
