Very rarely seen in cultivation, this Vipers Bugloss relative from S. Spain and N. Africa bears slender columns of light-pink flowers from 60cm to 2.5m tall over rosettes of grey-green foliage in mid-summer. For very well drained soil in a sunny site, even rocky dry rubbish, where it will be very drought tolerant. Presumably reasonably to fully hardy, but who grows it?
