Hedychium sp. ‘Khang Khui Tall Boy’

Found originally in the wilds of Eastern Manipur at 1600m asl, at the epicentre of Hedychium diversity, this has palest-pink, highly fragrant flowers atop pseudo-stems potentially to 2.5m tall, though they've reached 1.5m with me here so far. Potentially hardy with a mulch over winter, this flowers in autumn. Evergreen if frost free, otherwise deciduous. Probably better grown potted, under cover in autumn, for good flower production.

Pot size: 2L
