Helleborus odorus
A lovely but rarely sold species from SE Europe with yellow-green flowers smelling of Elderflower blossom, produced on a strong growing plant to 50cm high in winter, usually Jan/Feb. The foliage is variably deeply dissected. Bulks up fast in good soil in semi-shade.
