A more upright, very floriferous form of the species named by Roy Lancaster. A large vigorous evergreen shrub of conical habit, especially when young, smothered in starry white flowers in Jul/Aug and best with some shelter in cold areas. In flower when most things aren't. This represents the var. ovata (though noone else seems to have noticed) and has broader foliage than most H. sexstylosa.
