Hydrangea serrata ‘Shojo’

A very free flowering vigorous Japanese cultivar with fairly large lacecaps in bright blue, mauve-blue or pink depending on soil and, as a bonus, the sterile florets have one sepal larger than the others; Yipee. The foliage tints well in good light, turning to red-purple shades and the whole plant reaches about 1.5m. For a semi-shaded position.
