Lophosoria quadripinnata

A magnificent giant evergreen fern, rarely available, with a range from Mexico to southern Chile. I've admired this beauty in both those countries, where the very lacy fronds reach up to 2.5m long and are pale blue-grey on the underside. Survived -14c here 2009-10 winters by becoming deciduous. This doesn't appreciate dry conditions and whilst remarkably tolerant, it only reaches a good size with moist soil.

Pot size: 5L
