Mahonia fargesii Ogisu 93056

Of the finest recent introductions of Mahonia from China, this is a bold and handsome multistemmed shrub to 3m or more tall. The glossy topped foliage is enhanced by the bright red of the rachis and petiole which bleeds a little into the base of the strikingly shaped leaflets. Bright yellow small flowers in erect racemes to 25cm in autumn followed by blue-black fruit.
