Osmunda regalis ‘Purpurascens’

Purple Royal Fern. A big upright imposing fern for a permanently moist or wet site, happy in full sun. In this form the impressive unfurling croziers are purple tinted in spring, turning matt-green in summer with purple stalks, then buttery-yellow in autumn. Can form short trunks given time. Ht 120cm.
