Pinus bhutanica

An extremely rare close relative of P. wallichiana, with the blue-green foliage more starkly pendulous, somewhat in the style of P. patula, on spreading, drooping, sinuous branches. A relatively new introduction from Bhutan and proving hardy in the UK over the last 20 years or so near here where they are most beautiful.
