Rheum acuminatum

A very ornamental, rare, Himalayan alpine rhubarb. Panicles of rosy-red flowers on bright red stems to 1m high over deeply veined heart shaped leaves, soft red beneath. Seemingly not that needy of excess moisture though very dry conditions will finish it off. These were found in Arunachal Pradesh, NE India.
