Tilia callidonta

Particularly rare in cultivation and also in the wild, this collection was introduced from Sichuan. A tree to 20m in the wild with a broad crown where well lit, though maybe smaller in cultivation. The leaves are dark green above and covered below with a dense layer of greyish green tomentum. Hardy.
