An exceptional colour form of this Eastern Asian hardy perennial, with heavily divided leaves that emerge green and then turn almost black, perfectly offsetting tall slim upright racemes of scented white flowers which rise above the foliage in late summer. Height 1.5m. Part shade or sun, but always just moist soil.
