Shipping Policy

We send out all our orders once a week on Wednesdays on a next day service for most of the UK and a two day service for remote locations. All orders are normally processed within 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. Within very busy periods due to high order volumes, or because of problems with couriers, this could be a little longer, but that would be a very unusual situation (like Covid). You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.


Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.


In-store pickup

You can avoid shipping fees with free local pickup at the nursery. After placing your order and selecting nursery pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 5 business days, usually sooner. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our in-store pickup hours are exactly the same as the nursery opening hours. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.


How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 2 days (3 days for Highlands and Islands) of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at [email protected] with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.


Refunds and returns

If you wish to return any part of your order please call to discuss. Plants are of course living things and great care needs to be taken with packing/returning them. We cannot be held responsible for plants that arrive back here damaged/dried out etc.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at [email protected] with your order number and a photo (preferably more than one) of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
