Adiantum tibeticum (venustum of Hort.)

A very hardy and particularly beautiful evergreen Maidenhair fern from the Himalaya and China, usually but erroneously known as A. venustum in cultivation, slowly creeping to form wide patches of delicate fronds to only 30cm high. New fronds emerge soft-pink tinged early in the spring. Very tough, in moist or dry humusy soil in light to deep shade.
