Allium cyathophorum var. farreri

A high altitude dwarf species from Gansu and Sichuan with pendant clusters of pink-purple flowers above the neat foliage in spring and early summer on a bushy clump only 20-30cm tall. The individual flowers have drawn out perianth segments, giving them a refined and attractive quality. Not weedy, this is well behaved. For sun and well drained soil.
