Allium lusitanicum ‘Lisa Blue’

Usually known as a form of A. senescens, but correctly placed under A. lusitanicum. This Portuguese onion makes a good ground cover, forming clumps of low foliage that emerges pale blue-grey, turning green, and round heads of mauve flowers to 30cm high in Aug-Sept.
