Asparagus brachyphyllus

Barely known in UK horticulture, this highly attractive and very hardy species is native from Central Asia to Korea. A tall drought tolerant deciduous perennial with upright branched stems to at least 1m, bearing clouds of very fine, thread-like foliage; a great contrast to heavier looking bedfellows.
