Beesia calthifolia
A scarce new Chinese introduction proving very amenable to cultivation. Glossy heart shaped leaves, shining and bronzed in spring and with striking veining. Starry white flowers on 40cm spikes over a long summer season. Semi-shade to shade, even handling a fair amount of sun. Will self sow gently if happy.
