Bidens aurea – white flowered

Flowering at a useful time of year in late summer and early autumn, the upright stems to at least 1.5m are topped by masses of Cosmos-style daisy flowers; white in the this form, with the usual yellow centres. A robust perennial, spreading at the root, but controllable and great in partnership with other strong perennials. A native of Arizona, south to Guatemala.
