Boehmeria splitgerbera

A fully hardy false nettle from Asia with potentially large and particularly well textured (non-stinging) foliage with a serrated edge; the surface being bullate, with deeply impressed veins; rough to the touch. A splendid foliage plant with an exotic look, making a good clump of strong stems up to about 1.5m high and suited to humus rich soil in semi or full shade, not too overly dry.
