Carpenteria californica ‘Ladham’s Variety’

A selected form of this Californian gem with larger flowers up to 8cm across. A medium sized evergreen shrub with deep green, slim foliage, enjoying a sunny position. The flowers, seen in July, are pure white with a golden yellow centre. The American name 'Tree Anemone' gives a hint to its floral character. Really very hardy, given sun and well drained soil.
