Caryopteris divaricata ‘Blue Butterflies’

New from Japan, this is a selected form of a relatively unknown but excellent Japanese clump forming aromatic herbaceous perennial. Producing an airy mass of unusually shaped blue flowers on particularly tall stems up to 1.8m in late summer/autumn. For well drained soil in sun. Very hardy, to about -18c.
