Centella asiatica

Gotu Kola, or Asiatic pennywort is an antioxidant-rich medicinal herb, employed these days in the skin care industry, and has long been traditionally used to treat dermatological conditions in some countries as well as various other conditions. It is also widely consumed in Asia as an edible plant, used in all manner of dishes and drinks. A low creeping member of the Apiaceae family, with rounded foliage for permanently just moist soil or even aquatic conditions. Borderline hardy and best grown potted in many areas.
