Cercidiphyllum japonicum ‘Boyd’s Dwarf’

A small leaved slow growing cultivar, making only a small tree to perhaps 4m tall, the autumn colour a rich warm yellow. The scent from the fallen autumn leaves is as strong and sugary as ever. Katsura trees enjoy even moisture at the root, so avoid very well drained soils in areas prone to drought; they are very happy in heavy clay, though certainly don't demand it. Very hardy, for sun or semi-shade.
