Cercis canadensis var. texensis ‘Oklahoma’

A selected form of this geographical variety from the Arbuckle mountains of Oklahoma, picked out for its exceptionally rich flower colour, being a vivid purple-pink. The var. texensis differs from typical C. canadensis by being only a shrubby little tree and having highly attractive and distinctive glossy, blunt tipped, wavy edged leaves. Masses of 'pea' flowers in spring. For full sun. Hardy.
