Cornus kousa ‘Marwood Twilight’

An excellent large flowered selection from Marwood Hill gardens in Devon, in which the leaves have a slight grey-green colouring. Particularly big flowers (up to 17cm across!) in June are heavily set and creamy-white, turning pink as they age, followed by large red fruit. Splendid deep red and purple autumnal tints. Makes a small tree or large shrub to about 3m, best away from overly thin limey soil.
