Corydalis omeiana

A rarely offered species from Sichuan, China, making a fairly vigorous specimen with a mass of deliciously scented flowers in spring/early summer; their mouths are bright electric blue and their tales are washed in purple-blue, giving an overall dusky-blue effect. To 30cm tall, this makes a good clump, with bright green foliage conspicuously marked with bright red spots. Dormant in summer, this prefers a humus rich relatively moist soil in semi or full shade. Very hardy.
