Dystaenia takesimana

The little known and rarely grown Perennial Korean Celery is not just a delicious edible but a highly attractive umbellifer for the garden to boot. Excellent much divided foliage with laciniate margins and strong stems to 1.5m, topped by goodly fulsome white umbels July to September. The leaves and stems make tasty additions to all manner of dishes and the young fresh leaves can be used as a substitute for flat leaved parsley. For moist soil in sun or semi-shade. Very hardy.
