Eomecon chionantha

Poppy of the Dawn. Crystalline white flowers in early summer and handsome shallowly lobed grey-green reniform leaves. Height 45cm. Spreads in shade, making very useful and attractive deciduous groundcover. Perfectly hardy, from China, this is the only member of this genus (monotypic).
