Epimedium borealiguizhouense

A relatively recently discovered species from SW China and strikingly different from most, this makes wide evergreen clumps of rather handsome, distinctly long, narrow, spine edged foliage held on particularly long petioles (stalks), topped in spring by 45cm tall cloud-like heads of very small white and yellow flowers. For reasonably moist soil in semi to full shade. Hardy.
