Epimedium ‘Crime Scene’

Raised by my friends at Far Reaches Farm in Washington State, this is a really excellent introduction and brought to the UK by Pan Global'. Large pink flowers with dark pink centres are borne in spring on horizontally arching wiry branches over the newly emerged foliage, which is very heavily spattered with blood-red markings, hence 'Crime Scene'. A cross between E. grandiflorum 'Queen Esta' and E. acuminatum, this is one of the very best!
