Epimedium ‘Jean O’Neill’

An evergreen floriferous hybrid from Hampshire proving rather tough. Flowers composed of creamy-white sepals with soft-purple, yellow tipped spurs, seen in spring. Glossy, prickly foliage emerges richly red-tinted, turning mid-green. Height 30cm. Shade and humus rich soil, not too overly dry. Raised from E. davidii, the other parent may be E. acuminatum.
