Epimedium qingchengshanensis

Relatively recently discovered in Sichuan, China and closely related to E. fargesii, this too has Dodecatheon-like pendulous flowers, white with purple centres, borne in spring. New foliage is splendidly salmon-pink, turning green, and is drawn out and handsome. Humus rich soil and shade, not too dry. Virtually untried in the UK so far, but hardy and vigorous.
