Big spidery soft-yellow flowers in huge quantities (up to 100 per stem), on very tall wiry stems to 80cm when established. Exceptionally fine evergreen leaves make a comparatively huge mound, composed of long narrow leaflets with an undulating edge, which emerge yellow-green and develop red markings as the flowers expand. Humus rich soil in light shade, not too dry. Although originally collected in China by Mikinori Ogisu as E. wushanense, this is definitely not that species, though what it actually is has not yet been established.
