Pretty, star-like, white flowers from pink buds on deep-red wiry stems to 1.2m hover above attractive trifoliate foliage over a long summer season; the reddish-brown calyces, after the flowers have fallen, continue the interest. From Eastern North America, this clumps up well in good soil. Not too dry and sunny, though not too shady either.
