Hakonechloa macra
Exceptionally handsome, rich green arching rounded mounds to 60cm high, composed of elegantly long-tapering foliage. Sun to semi-shade, not too dry. Deciduous, but handsome for half the winter in a bleached out state. A personal favourite of mine from Japan.
