Hedychium sp. ‘Khang Khui Tall Boy’

Found originally in the wilds of Eastern Manipur at 1600m asl, at the epicentre of Hedychium diversity, this has palest-pink, highly fragrant flowers atop pseudo-stems potentially to 2.5m tall, though they've reached 1.5m with me here so far. Potentially hardy with a mulch over winter, this flowers in autumn. Evergreen if frost free, otherwise deciduous. Probably better pot grown, under cover in autumn for good flower production, then overwintered frost free.

Pot size: 2L
