Hedychium villosum var. tenuiflorum

From Arunachal Pradesh, NE India, this is one of the very finest Ginger lilies, being short, highly floriferous, flowering fairly early in the ginger season and with deep green glossy foliage and dark-red tinted pseudostems. The flowers are a mix of white spidery petals, ageing primrose yellow, and deep-red long extended stamen, all from red tinted bracts. Best overwintered under cover.
