Hedychium yunnanense PAB 7361
A highly attractive relatively recent introduction from Manipur, NE India, with cream flowers and long extended orange stamen radiating fully around the inflorescence, atop leafy stems to 75cm. The flowers are borne extremely early for an Hedychium, in July in the garden here. where it has been fully hardy over many years, without a mulch. Also an excellent pot plant. Decent soil in sun or semi-shade.
