Originally found wild in Romania, this splendid airy umbellifer is actually native to most countries in Europe, though not the UK; no thanks to the last Ice Age. A close relation of the slightly better known L. siler, this makes an equally tall plant with strong but very slim flowering stems, supporting broad lacy heads of white flower in summer. The foliage is composed of many glaucous leaflets, which as you might expect are broader than L. siler. Height approx' 1m. A drought tolerant rarity for sun and reasonable drainage.
