Lonicera x brownii ‘Dropmore Scarlet’

Scarlet trumpet honeysuckle. With a flowering period usually from July to October, this is a deservedly very popular clone, with bunches of bright scarlet tubular/trumpet shaped flowers. A hybrid of the semi-evergreen American L. sempervirens, this is also semi-evergreen, depending on severity of winter. A large hardy climber for a wall, fence, tree, shrub, trellis, or any other suitable support. Sun or semi-shade.
