Lysimachia christinae ‘Zixin’

Found wild in China, 'Zixin' was named for the excellent deep purple-red variegation following the veins in the otherwise green leaves. In use as a groundcover plant in China, this spreads to form very low mats of excellent small foliage, interspersed with bright yellow flowers with deep purple throats in summer. Sun or semi-shade. It has formed a good carpet here so far after quite a few years in the ground.
