Magnolia obovata Pink form

A vigorous and highly attractive medium sized tree with superb oversized foliage, with the flowers pink-tinged on the outer tepals in this very rare form. Exceptionally strongly fragrant creamy flowers with a pink flush and crimson stamens borne in May/June over huge obovate leaves, followed by big red fruit clusters. A wonderful tree that should be in every tree collection and/or reasonably sized garden. The scent drifts on the breeze for quite some distance. Best in good deep soil.
