Mentha spicata ‘Kentucky Colonel’

The perfect Spearmint for Mojitos, Mint Juleps and all manner of other culinary uses, 'Kentucky Colonel has superior foliage to straight M. spicata. Forms a vigorous, hardy perennial in the garden, 30 to 60cm tall, though possibly best kept in a container to avoid unwanted vigorous running at the root. Spikes of palest lilac-pink-white flowers in late summer. The foliage can be used for tea, in salads, as a garnish etc.
