Miscanthus sinensis ‘Purple Fall’
A modern variety, selected for autumn colour. Forms a dense upright clump with outwardly arching long slim foliage which turns to shades of deep plum-purple in autumn. The elegant spays of deep-red flowers appear in early autumn and turn beige-silver and last a while into winter. Hardy. 1.5m. Sun. Happy in most soils.
