Philadelphus ‘Casa Azul’

Raised and named here at Pan Global', this hybrid was found as a seedling in my garden, growing between two different Mexican parents. Extremely sweetly scented, cup shaped white flowers with a subtle central purple-red stain are borne in profusion in early summer over relatively narrow, dainty foliage on exceptionally arching stems. A hardy shrub to 2.5m tall, though can be kept smaller, to approx 1.5m, with yearly pruning. For sun or semi-shade.
