Photinia villosa var. coreana

Forming a small tree with a wide spreading crown and with excellent autumn colour, this Korean form of this deciduous species sets fruit very readily. Clusters of Hawthorn-like flowers in May are followed by bright red egg shaped fruits. Leaves turn to a dazzling orange, red or yellow in autumn. Not for thin chalk soils.
