Pittosporum tobira ‘Tall ‘n’ Tough’

A selected very hardy form of this medium sized evergreen shrub from the Far East made at the JC Raulston arboretum, North Carolina. This will grow 2m x 2m, though can get a bit taller given a few decades. Dark green glossy foliage is obscured in summer by the highly fragrant, orange-blossom scented creamy-white flowers, turning yellow as they age. Drought tolerant. Hardy to at least -17 degrees. Best in sun.
